- Pharmacological properties: The action of Tox-O XL is based on various mechanisms of protection of animals from the harmful effects of mycotoxins, such as deoxynivalenols, fumonisins and aflatoxins. The drug contains smectite clays, which bind mycotoxins and promote their excretion before absorption into the digestive system of animals. Smectites include montmorillonite clay with a transitional connection with crystal lattices. Scientific studies have shown that smectites have the unique property of binding only mycotoxins, without adsorbing nutrients. Smectite clays form strong bonds with mycotoxins between the layers of the crystal lattice and ensure the natural excretion of the most dangerous mycotoxins with feces. - Storage conditions: Dark and dry room with a temperature regime from 5°C to 25°C.
Effectiveness of application: The drug Tox-O XL is specially designed for cold and temperate climates, which are most favorable for Fusarium fungi. Therefore, it is very important to use defense mechanisms based not only on the binding function, since Fusarium fungi toxins are poorly amenable to the action of sorbents. The drug Tox-O XL prevents the absorption of mycotoxins into the intestines in several ways, helping animals cope with unbound and not excreted toxins.
