Vitamin B6
- Chemical formula: C8H11NO3
- Form: White powder.
- Pharmacological properties: The biological role of Vitamin B6 is determined by its participation in amino acid metabolism and the construction of the enzyme phosphorylase, which breaks down glycogen. Pyridoxine is necessary for the conversion of linoleic acid into arachidonic acid in the animal body. The vitamin is involved in the conversion of fat from protein, blood hemoglobin, and also in sodium metabolism. Thus, vitamin B6 regulates protein, carbohydrate, fat and mineral metabolism.
- Storage conditions: Store in the manufacturer's packaging in a dark, dry, well-ventilated area at a temperature of -15 ºС to 25 ºС.
- Packaging and storage: Vitamin B6 is packed in 25 kg bags. Shelf life is 3 years.
Effectiveness of application: Vitamin B6 plays an important role in the metabolism of amino acids and the breakdown of fats and carbohydrates. Vitamin B6 deficiency leads to growth retardation in animals and poultry, liver and myocardial dysfunction, and changes in blood parameters.
Application standards: Vitamin B6 is introduced into premixes and compound feeds in accordance with existing vitamin introduction technologies. Recommended introduction rates (per 1 kg of finished feed):
