Vitamin B1

  • Chemical formula: C12H17N4OS.
  • Form: White or white with a yellowish tinge crystalline powder.
  • Pharmacological properties: The feed additive contains 98% thiamine mononitrate. Vitamin B1 in phosphorylated form is a coenzyme of various decarboxylases and, thus, participates in carbohydrate metabolism, affects the functioning of the myocardium, nervous tissues and intestinal peristalsis.
  • Storage conditions: Store in the manufacturer's packaging in a dark, dry, well-ventilated area at a temperature of -15ºС to 25ºС.
  • Packaging and storage: Vitamin B1 is packed in boxes weighing 25 kg. The shelf life is 3 years.

Effectiveness of application: Vitamin B1 participates in energy and carbohydrate metabolism, normalizes the functioning of the nervous and cardiac systems, the digestive system, and the activity of the endocrine glands.

Application standards: Vitamin B1 is introduced into premixes and compound feeds in accordance with existing vitamin introduction technologies. Recommended introduction rates (per 1 kg of finished feed):

  • Chickens – 1-3 mg;
  • Chickens (young) – 2-3 mg;
  • Laying hens – 2-3 mg;
  • Fattening broilers – 2-3 mg;
  • Turkeys for fattening – 2-3 mg;
  • Piglets – 1-3 mg;
  • Fattening pigs – 0.5-1.5 mg;
  • Sows – 1-3 mg.

Overdose: It is important to follow the instructions for use.

Special precautions: Compound feeds with added vitamin B1 should not be exposed to high temperatures to avoid their destruction.

Special precautions for personnel: Use protective gloves and goggles when adding the feed additive to the feed.
