Application standards: L-Tryptophan is used to balance the diet of farm animals, poultry and fish in terms of tryptophan. The amino acid is introduced into the feed at the rate of:
- Pigs:
- Piglets – 0.5-1.0 kg/t;
- Sows – 0.1-0.5 kg/t;
- Fattening pigs – 0.1-0.5kg/t.
- Birds:
- Broilers - 0.1-0.5 kg/t;
- Laying hens – 0.1-1.0 kg/t;
- Turkeys – 0.1-1.0 kg/t.
- Others:
- Calves – 0.1-1.0 kg/t;
- Rabbits – 0.1-1.0 kg/t;
- Fish – 0.1-1.0 kg/t.

- Fattening pigs (30 – 60kg) – 0.04-0.15%;
- Adult pigs – 0.04-0.10 %;
- Laying hens, broilers – 0.125-0.25 %;
- Fish – 0.025-0.50 %;
- Crustaceans – 0.025-0.25%.
