L-Lysine Sulphate

  • Chemical formula: (C6Н14N2O2)2*H2SO4.
  • Form: White or light brown powder.
  • Pharmacological properties: L-Lysine Sulfate improves digestion, helps increase the biological value of food vegetable protein, catalyzes enzymatic transformations, participates in the metabolism of proteins and carbohydrates. The amino acid reduces the content of triglycerides in blood serum, promotes calcium absorption and maintains nitrogen balance in the body. Lysine participates in the production of antibodies, hormones and enzymes; promotes collagen formation and tissue repair, serves as a source of energy, stimulates protein synthesis in the body, promotes bone formation.
  • Storage conditions: Dry, dark room with a temperature regime from 5°C to 25°C.
  • Packaging and storage: L-Lysine Sulfate is supplied in kraft bags with a polyethylene liner weighing 25 kg, "big bags" of 500 and 800 kg. The shelf life is 2 years from the date of manufacture.

In addition to lysine, L-Lysine Sulfate contains other substances in an easily digestible form that increase its nutritional value: carbohydrates (sucrose, fructose, dextrose, etc.), mineral salts (ammonium, potassium, sodium, calcium, magnesium), organic acids (acetic, succinic). L-Lysine Sulfate also contains more than 10% other amino acids.

Effectiveness of application: Lysine Sulfate can be used instead of the traditional form of L-Lysine Hydrochloride as a lysine-balancing feed additive in the feeding of farm animals and poultry. In this case, it is necessary to take into account the content of the active substance. The effect of the use of L-Lysine Sulfate is observed even when using an increased amount of sodium and chlorine balancing additives in the diet.

Application standards: L-Lysine Sulfate is added during the production of compound feeds, feed additives and premixes at feed industry enterprises, using existing mixing technologies. The amount of the introduced amino acid is determined by the level of protein in the feed and the amino acid composition of the components. The recommended lysine content should be:

  • Piglets – 1.5-2.5%;
  • Fattening pigs – 1.0-1.5%;
  • Sows – 0.5-1%;
  • Broilers - 1.0 - 2.5%;
  • Cows – 0.6-0.9%;
  • Chickens – 0.5-1.0%;
  • Turkeys – 1.5-2.5%;
  • Partridges 1.5-2.5%.

Overdose: It is important to follow the instructions for use.

Special precautions: None.

Special precautions for personnel: Use protective gloves and goggles when adding the feed additive to the feed.

Forms of incompatibility: None.
