Binder for granules
To achieve a dense consistency of compound feed for animals, birds and fish, experts have developed a special preparation that binds the granules together. Thanks to guar gum and calcium sulfate, which are part of the feed additive, the feed granules are fixed qualitatively, without affecting the taste properties of the product.
Zootechnical indicators are noticeably improved due to the fact that the granule binder makes them whole, preserving the entire component composition of the feed. Animals and birds receive balanced, high-quality food, digest it perfectly and increase in height and weight.
Mechanism of action
The binding mechanism is explained by the presence of a combination of guar gum and calcium sulfate in the composition of the preparation. Guar gum is activated by conditioning with steam and moisture. Under the influence of steam and high temperatures, the granule fixative forms a solution and forms a thin layer of lubricating film on the surface of the matrix. As a result, the operation of the press granulator becomes more uniform and uninterrupted, the service life of the press granulator rollers and matrix increases, productivity increases and energy costs decrease.
Granule fixer helps:
- Preservation of heat-sensitive substances such as enzymes and vitamins;
- Improving the quality of granules, namely strength and hardness indicators;
- Reducing the number of dust particles;
- Improving sanitary and hygienic conditions;
- Prevents the destruction of granules during transportation. As a result, the smallest and most valuable fractions of feed are preserved - lysine, methionine, vitamins;
