PROTOTYPE OF INSECTICIDE BIOLOGICAL PREPARATION

PROTOTYPE OF AN INSECTICIDE BIOLOGICAL PREPARATION FOR COMBATING RED CHICKEN MITES, FLIES (INCLUDING THE LARVAL STAGE), LICE, BEDBUGS, FLEAS, MOSQUITOES.

Active ingredient:

Consortium of living vegetative cells of microorganisms, and their spore forms:

  • Bacillus thuringiensis var. Kurstaki
  • Bacillus thuringiensis var Israilensis
  • Bacillus thuringiensis
  • Bacillus subtilis
  • As well as the thermostable protein endotoxins, true toxins and prototoxins synthesized by them.

The total titer of cells and spores of microorganisms of the drug at the end of the shelf life is 2*10CFU/ml.

Microorganisms and their metabolic products that are part of the preparation have high insecticidal activity against the larval stages of insects and also, in contact, against the adult stages.

The principle of action of the drug – contact-intestinal – an insect or its larva becomes infected by eating spores, or vegetative cells or endotoxins, and infection also occurs when active substances enter the insect’s trachea during breathing. Later, if a spore or vegetative cell enters the body, the spore germinates, microorganisms begin to divide, as a result of which the insect is paralyzed by the action of metabolic products, it stops moving and feeding, the process is irreversible. In case of toxins, paralysis occurs immediately. Protoxins must first be activated. Their activation occurs only in the middle intestine of sensitive insect species at a pH of about 9.5. These protein toxins are practically insoluble in water and are safe for all vertebrates (including humans) and most insects.

These toxins exhibit high specificity for the intestinal epithelium of the host insect, where they attach to the epithelial membranes of the midgut, which leads to disruption of the digestive system, gradually causing starvation.

The microorganisms of the preparation have a probiotic effect on the animal body. Strain Bacillus subtilis is a typical representative of the transit microbiota of the intestines of animals.

USE OF THE MEDICATION:

Microaerosol spraying of premises (walls, ceiling, external surface of equipment)0.5 – 1 l of the product per 10 l of water per 1000 m2
