Feed yeast 40.5%

  • Composition: Crude protein 40.5%.
  • Form: Light brown powder.
  • Pharmacological properties: Feed yeast is obtained from pure yeast cultures grown on hydrolysate of waste from the alcohol, sugar, woodworking, and pulp and paper industries. Feed yeast is a high-protein feed containing from 40% of crude protein. In terms of the content of essential amino acids (except for methionine), feed yeast protein is close to the protein of animal feed. 1 kg of yeast contains 30-35 g of lysine. Yeast is a rich source of B vitamins. In terms of their quantity, they surpass animal feed.
  • Storage conditions: Store in a dry, cool place at a temperature not exceeding 25°C and a relative humidity of up to 70%.
  • Packaging and storage: Polyethylene packages of 1 kg, 6 months from the date of manufacture.

Effectiveness of application: Feed yeast is a protein-vitamin feed additive for animals of all species and age groups. Due to the high content of protein and B vitamins, the use of feed yeast helps to accelerate the growth of young animals, increase the growth of piglets, calves and poultry, increase egg production in chickens, reduce morbidity and mortality of chickens, ducklings, goslings, turkeys, and improve the quality of fur in rabbits and fur-bearing animals.

When feeding high-yielding cows, yeast supplementation serves as a source of complete protein, which prevents the occurrence and development of acidosis, creates a powerful buffer system, stabilizing the work of the rumen. The use of yeast ensures that the peak of cow lactation is maintained at a stable level for 20-25 days. For young cattle, yeast is introduced into the composition of compound feed or grain feed mixtures as a complete source of protein (essential amino acids). A significant effect is observed when using yeast when there is not enough hay in the diet (less than 1 kg per head) or it is of poor quality.

In pig feeding, yeast is used as a regulator of the reproductive abilities of sows during the farrowing period, as a stimulant of milk production in nursing sows, and as a sperm production stimulant in breeding boars.

In industrial poultry farming, yeast is used as a substitute for animal feed in feeding intensive crosses of laying hens and broilers. The combination of a high concentration of lysine and tryptophan in yeast with a sufficient concentration of methionine in sunflower meal allows you to easily balance the composition of the diet and adjust the bird's body to maximum productivity. In broilers that received feed yeast throughout the growing period, the quality of meat significantly improves and its taste properties increase.

Application standards: Feed yeast is added to the feed daily. Recommended dosage (g / head / day):

  • cattle – 200-1000;
  • pigs – 30-300;
  • sheep, goats – 50-80;
  • laying hens – 5-8;
  • ducks – 15-50;
  • Fur-bearing animals – 8-10.

Overdose: It is important to follow the instructions for use.

Special precautions: None.

Special precautions for personnel: Use protective gloves and goggles when adding the feed additive to the feed.

Forms of incompatibility: Yeast lacks vitamin B12. This feature should be taken into account, especially when using it in compound feeds and feed mixtures consisting only of plant components.
